Bread, and Bread AGAIN

We had a recent Enrichment church activity where we learned how to bake bread. The gal did a great job and made it look so easy. This loaf was my first attempt and my kids took one bite of the delicious smelling bread and said "No Thanks Mom!"

The recipe made 5 loaves so we had a lot of gross bread. I tried feeding it to our dog who eats anything and he smelled it and took off. Next I tried the birds who should be hungry this time of year and they wouldn't eat it either!!! I was determined to make it like the gal did in our class so with trial and error I have made bread that both smells and tastes good. My kids will eat it!!!This is my improved loaf.

It is made with wheat I ground fresh and nothing beats a slice of fresh hot bread with butter and honey!!! As you can tell I am quite proud of myself!!!
