July Summer Fun

We have had a fun and busy July.  Enjoy a few of our moments.

We hiked in the Sawtooth Mountains, well almost the whole family made it the three miles to the lake.  Malia went back with some cousins, but Lily actually walked most of the way.

Camping with the Lowe family.

Chubby Bunny!!!

Sawtooth Mountain Range, my favorite of all the Idaho Mountains.!!!

The kids beg to wash the car, just to get wet and play in the water.  We have spent many hours outside getting wet.  Below are some wet times at McCall.

This last picture was before church one Sunday after a vacation, it is 8:30am and Hunter dressed for church is wearing his shades and eating candy from a recent pinata.

Berries, Berries and more Strawberries

With our cool, wet spring weather have come STRAWBERRIES!!!! We have picked thousands of strawberries, eaten dozens of shakes, made a freezer plus full of jam and frozen trays of berries to eat this winter.

We still have lots getting ripe so I hope my friends like Strawberries!!

Fish On!!

We have taken several fishing trips lately and have had a great time.

I am not a big fish eater, but I did cook up the fish Hunter caught and we recently had BBQ fish that I was quit proud of.

A couple of Turkey's

My two turkey's had a great hunt together. I think riding the four-wheeler was Hunter's favorite part and he is well on his way to being just like his dad. (Heaven help his future wife) :0)

My kids love to ring the doorbell and run away. This time when I opened the door I got a sweet love note. I just love being a mom.

Holidays - Christmas

Christmas was fun, fun, fun. Having little kids really makes the holiday magical.
We enjoyed family, friends and snow. Hunter has been wondering lately what Santa will bring him next Christmas.

Abby won first prize in the "kids 11 and younger" category with her eggnog pie at our ward Christmas party dessert contest. She is becoming a great help in the kitchen.

Every year we decorate gingerbread houses. Abby and her friend actually did more than just eat candy.

Christmas time and the new year is always a good time for me to reflect on my many blessings. I have an abundance of them and look forward to making new memories this new year.

Holidays- Halloween and Thanksgiving

Well the fall holidays were fun and kept us busy. Halloween was warm and the kids got lots of candy to share with mom and dad.

We carved pumpkins we grew in our own garden. The kids draw the face and Cline cuts and cuts.

Malia's kindergarten class had a feast for Thanksgiving and as a family we feasted in Washington with my whole family in attendance. It was wonderful.
