The weather has turned cold and our garden as withered now. But we had a great season and were blessed with much abundance. These tomato and pepper plants are just a couple of the many we grew. Cline hung them in the garage on some elk antlers to see if the remaining veggies will ripen. We will see...

We had over 150 pumpkins this year. Most of them the small baby kind that our kids love. We took some dried corn and decorated the porch. The kids kept asking when we were going to carve pumpkins for Halloween.

I was very proud of the size of our peppers and have been busy freezing and canning our corn, beans, peppers, carrots, and tomatoes.

We also had lots and lots of fruit this year. This picture is of the peaches we had from one tree, there were 13 boxes total!!!! It was very satisfying to see the fruit all bottled up and on our storage room shelves. I do have to admit that I did give quite a few boxes of fruit away to family and friends. We also had nectarines, apples, pears, and plums.

This was a year of bounty, we feel blessed and will enjoy fruit and veggies all winter long.
