When I picked them up Malia complained that is was soooo hot and wished they had been indoors for the activity. We had a nice talk about the "real" pioneers that we can thank for our good circumstances today. 
With the temperature climbing to 102 the day of the activity I do have to agree with Malia, it was hot and thank goodness we have the comforts of air conditioning.
